Whether you’re designing a new garden or want to revamp an old one, gardening projects require a lot of planning.
If you want your garden to be a horticultural haven, use calm and subtle colors in all aspects of your garden. Pastel shades work best, particularly when planted in ‘drifts’ of colour.
Don’t be afraid to have a go at making your own garden ornaments. Something as simple as a sundial or a birdbath can add the personal touch to your garden. Try your local salvage yard for interesting materials.

Awesome, I like the ones with the water.
Beautiful gardens. What a nice organic look that modern building makes. Undulating curves and rock paths. It really makes me want to redesign my backyard.

My brother is gonna implement some of these designs into his backyard this summer.
I think those are all really great ideas! Some look really expensive though. And I don’t really get the Blue Sticks one, like really? Who would want a bunch of random blue sticks sticking out of their garden without a purpose? Oh well, other than that, GREAT STUFF!

It’s interesting to see some contemporary garden designs.
None of them look really practical… don’t designers think about rain or spiders?
The one with the tree ferns, spiders love tree ferns, and the ones with furniture underneath don’t provide enough shelter from rain.

great designs. i have a small garden space at home and i’m looking for some designs that will give life to it. i love the idea of having moss on the wall.
I need more ideas!!! We have an extreme home and need some really weird landscaping ideas. These are great, and I got a few ideas already, but anyone have links to more???
