Get all the Indoor Gardening Supplies Ready

So the first way to make the process convenient and easier for you is to get all the supplies ready. You will need distilled water, a light source and a fertilizer.  The light source can be either natural light or artificial light. You must have nutrient rich potting soil in containers so as to grow plants indoors.  The containers must be big enough to give the plants room to grow.

Water and Temperature

One of the main issues that may arise when doing indoor organic gardening is overwatering.  This overwatering can result in root rot and must be avoided.  Make sure that you don’t water the plants after they have become moist and make use of distilled water that is at room temperature. Using cold tap water may not be good for the indoor plants.  Plants must be kept at a temperature of 65 to 75 Fahrenheit and this temperature must be reduced during the night.  To maintain the levels of humidity, you can also make use of a humidifier.

Using Fertilizers and Pesticides

After three months of planting the indoor plants, you can make use of natural fertilizers and pesticides. Make sure insects do not damage the plants by using hot peppers, alcohol and dish soap which work as natural pesticides.

Avoid Possible Problems

In order to make indoor gardening easier for yourself, you can avoid the possible problems that may arise. If the edges of leaves appear brown and dried, then you must know that this happens due to too much humidity or heat. On the other hand, if spots start appearing, then this could be due to overwatering.

So now that you know the important tips, you will be able to pursue your passion for indoor organic gardening with a lot of ease!
